When Trauma Hits, You Shouldn't Have to Navigate the Dark Alone.

The Chase Dean Foundation provides real-world guidance, resources, and support for families facing the unimaginable aftermath of violent crime, vehicular homicide, and sudden loss.

In an instant, your life becomes a crime scene. Your loved one becomes evidence. And suddenly, you are expected to navigate a system no one is built to handle.

We are built to process death from old age. We are equipped—as much as anyone can be—to prepare for illness. But we are NOT equipped for violent crime, vehicular homicide, suicide or sudden traumatic loss.

When the unimaginable happens, the ripple effect is total:

  • Your sanctuary is gone: Your house or your car is no longer yours—it’s a crime scene.

  • Your reality shifts: Your child, spouse, or parent isn't just your family anymore—now they are evidence.

  • The shock is overwhelming: Trauma leaves every person affected, whether you witnessed it firsthand or are left picking up the shattered pieces.

Cruelty and violence are as old as humanity itself—stretching back to the very beginning of human history. Brother on Brother. Cain murdered Abel.
Yet, here we are in 2026, and families are still left standing in the dark, forced to figure out the messy, expensive, and devastating logistics of murder and sudden loss completely on their own.

When violent crime strikes a family, the grief is overwhelming. The legal and court systems are cold, confusing, and impersonal. Resources are everywhere and nowhere to be found.  You shouldn't have to navigate the darkest days of your life alone.

The Chase Dean Foundation exists to walk directly alongside victims of violent crime and the families of homicide victims in Montgomery County (and eventually Walker County). We provide fierce advocacy, reliable resources, personal guidance, bridge funding and faith-grounded support when you need a voice in your corner.

We aren't a generic social service agency; The Chase Dean Foundation is a lifeline and a powerhouse advocate for families dealing with the devastating aftermath of violent crime and homicide. We stand in the gap, fight through the bureaucracy (and the frustrating help, but no help) and speak up when others can't—grounded in faith, truth, justice, and tenacious accountability.
